Smart Card Time and Attendance Systems

Contactless smart cards or key fobs are used to operate the system, which use well-proven and reliable RF (Radio Frequency) reading technology. This gives a consistent read range, which is unaffected by most external conditions.

The large, fluorescent display of the time and attendance reader makes it easy to confirm your clockings, check flexi-time hours or make job booking transactions. Clocking in and out is simple – just hold your smart card or key fob in front of the reader, where it is scanned automatically in under 1/4 second.

Our smart card technology enables your card or key fob to be read through any non-metallic items, so there is no need to remove it from your wallet or purse.

Biometric Time and Attendance Systems

Biometrics can be added to your time and attendance system to provide irrefutable proof of identity. Time and Attendance UK have a range of dermal fingerprint scanners that read below the surface layer of skin down to the dermal layer where your true fingerprint resides.

With biometrics implemented on your time and attendance system, the employee is prompted to present their fingerprint to the scanner where it is matched to the one on file, typically within 1 second.

A combination of fingerprint reading and non-fingerprint reading scanners can be implemented on the same time and attendance network, allowing you to pick and choose where you wish your biometric readers to be.
