Personnel recording system opens doors if fire alarm goes off
Fire crews from Surrey and Berkshire were called to a major operation when a block of timber framed flats under construction caught ablaze. One hundred individuals were requisitioned to deal with the incident in neighbouring Hampshire. Investigators are now examining the wreckage to see what caused the fire. Chief Officer John Bonney said: "When timber framed buildings catch fire the actual structure burns. It often leads to total collapse and that puts the safety of our firefighters at risk.”
A Time and Attendance South East personnel recording system includes a super safety feature whereby a roll-call report is printed or doors are opened if the fire alarm goes off. This is just one aspect of the smart card clocking system, where the software reads the data from employees using their cards clock-in at the individual scanners. You can define multiple paid or unpaid breaks and ask WinTA to insert breaks if an employee doesn’t clock them. You can set breaks to activate between set times, and/or after a minimum number of hours have been worked.
