Harmonise the working environment by making night shifts simple to define
Cleaners on the London Underground (LU) and Docklands Light Railway will take industrial action during the Olympics opening ceremony on Friday. The strike will coincide with separate action, where union members on the Tube will work to rule over an Olympics pay deal and the use of casual workers. However, LU management said the action would have no impact on services. All Rail, Maritime and Transport members on the Tube will work to rule from Friday until further notice.
