Employee smart card with no battery can be read thousands of times
The Bucks stops here for a new pay system agreed by council employees in Buckinghamshire. The County Council’s strategic director Gillian Hibberd revealed that 94 per cent of the workforce had now opted into the revised system. Workers opting in will receive a one-off payment of £750 (funded by £2 million in council reserves) in recognition that they will now not be guaranteed an incremental pay rise each year and will have pay review dates delayed from April to July.
Smart cards, optional biometrics, large colour LCD and intuitive software from Time and Attendance South East all provide the fastest and safest method of recording your employees’ time & attendance. Our most popular smart card is the T1305, which is about the size of a standard credit card and is thin and flexible enough to be carried in your wallet. It contains no battery, thus has a near infinite life, and can be read thousands of times – thus saving money.
