Prison monitoring holds a log of every person on site
A man absconded from the Isle of Sheppey prison on Monday (January 7, 2013). Thirty-six year old Paul Stone, who hails from the Medway area, failed to return to the jail in Eastchurch on the Isle between 08:00 and 12:15 GMT on that morning. He is now being sought by police, officers confirmed. Members of the public have been advised not to approach Stone, but to call the main 999 police number.
