User-friendly Net module allows staff to make holiday requests
Tube workers have voted for industrial action. Thirty-three employees working for Trainpeople on the Bakerloo and District lines lost their jobs after their contract with London Underground ended in December. Union sources said the Trainpeople members who lost their jobs would picket. Operations director at Transport for London, Nigel Holness, said services will be unaffected, and added: “This is a dispute between the RMT and an agency called Trainpeople. None of these members of staff were ever employed by London Underground.”
Time and Attendance South East software has comprehensive reporting and analysis modules when staff are late or do not turn up for work. The clever system allows employees or contractors to view or change their personal information via an Internet Browser. Access to this user-friendly module is username and password protected. After logging in, staff can view their absence calendar and make holiday requests; or add /amend any of their clockings, to be authorised subsequently by a line manager.
