Over 50 members of staff have been made redundant following the collapse of a 50-year-old Hampshire printing business, a recent news report in the local media has been able to reveal.

LPC Printing, based in Hythe, was founded in 1964, but has now closed on appointment and trading was ceased which has resulted in the redundancy of 56 members of staff.

Care operator to expand after securing funding package


A care home operator has revealed plans to build its eight facility at Hawkhurst, Tunbridge Wells, after securing a a £15m funding package from Clydesdale and Yorkshire Bank, a recent news report in the local media has been able to reveal.

Graham Care, which already operates seven care homes in Kent, Surrey and Sussex, also plans to use the funds in order to complete a major redevelopment of its existing care home at Rodwell Farm in Surrey.

Healthcare provider to expand following funding deal


A specialized provider of radiotherapy and other cancer treatments will be able to expand and open further centres across the UK after securing a lucrative funding deal.

Hampshire-based Cancer Partners UK has already opened a network of eight purpose-built centres in Portsmouth, Southampton, Oxford, Nottingham, Milton Keynes, Guildford, Elstree and Birmingham.
