Public services provider wins MoD contracts potentially worth up to £1.7bn


Public services provider Amey has managed to win two contracts potentially worth up to £1.7bn from the Ministry of Defence (MoD) as part of the Defence Infrastructure Organisation’s (DIO) ‘Next Generation Estate Contracts’ programme to maintain and upgrade defence infrastructure.

1,500 new homes to be built as part of new development in Medway

The planning permission applications were put forward by Leonard Cheshire Disability and Gracewell Properties and Care UK Community Partnerships respectively, and involve a 60-bed nursing home in Adderbury and a 73-bed home in Banbury.
