Business system prevents visitors gaining admittance with false ID

A well-known landlord, who owns 60 properties in the Ashford area, has been found guilty of electoral fraud. Cencizham Cerit, of Primrose Drive, Ashford, was also found guilty of submitting his nomination paper knowing it contained false signatures. He was a candidate for a seat in the Beaver ward on Ashford Borough Council, but was unsuccessful. Canterbury Crown Court heard Cerit delivered 200 postal vote applications to the council containing false or forged signatures. Sentencing will place on Friday (February 8).
