A South East Coast Ambulance Service spokesman told news reporters that injuries caused in a Surrey industrial fire ranged from “minor to far more serious.” Two air ambulances and a dozen ambulances attended the scene at the Hobbs Industrial Estate off Eastbourne Road in Newchapel, near Lingfield. A spokeswoman said: “Surrey Police, Surrey Fire and Rescue Service, South East Coast Ambulance Service and Surrey Air Ambulance” were all in attendance. There were understood to be gas cylinders on the site.
