Group drawing up ambitious economic growth plan for Kent and Medway

The Kent & Medway Economic Partnership, a high level public and private sector group led by Kent and Medway business leaders, is drawing up a very ambitious, short and medium-term plan to support economic growth in Kent over the next six years, a news report in the local business media has revealed.

The partnership’s main targets will be to shape how business and public sector efforts are focused to secure growth and is calling on local businesses to can gather as many views as possible to compile the proposals.

The partnership said: "It will also help to decide how we apply for and make best use of available public sector funding in excess of £100m."
