Health and safety technology helps swift evacuation from commercial buildings
Fire crews were called to Warden Park School in Cuckfield on Friday (January 6) afternoon following an incident on the ground floor of the campus. The blaze was reported by West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service, and happened at 1.50pm at the 1,500-pupil secondary school in Broad Street. The Fire & Rescue Service said the fire had been extinguished by the time its two crews from Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill arrived at the scene.
Schools, offices and any other commercial buildings can benefit from expert health and safety- technology from Time and Attendance South East. Our smart card based Time and Attendance Systems, which contain fire alarm notification and immediate fire roll call reports, enable your pupils or staff to evacuate the premises. Employees simply log themselves on and off site using either a contactless smart card or key fob. An evacuation list is then printed at a safe pre-determined remote point. Scaled-down time and attendance is PC-based and suitable for schools.
