Multiple working patterns included in entry level business payroll system
London Underground (LU) said its new deal offered to staff is fair and affordable. LU is offering a pay rise this year which is 0.25 per cent more than its previous offer. Tube and other workers would then receive retail price index (RPI) inflation plus 0.25% in the following three years, and RPI plus 0.5% in the final year. Howard Collins, LU’s chief operating officer, said: "We have made a very fair and affordable multi-year pay offer to the trade unions.”
