Staff payments system calculates bonuses as extra hours or monetary amounts
London Underground (LU) has agreed a deal for engineers, electricians and managerial staff to be paid an extra £850 for working during the Olympics. The Unite union negotiated the agreement and said its members voted to accept the deal by four to one. The union stated LU had “done the right thing” by recognising the extra work members will be expected to do. LU said it was pleased Unite had agreed to its proposals for how Tube staff can be fairly rewarded.
