Stepnell completes refurbishment work for Corpus Christi College at the University of Oxford

A refurbishment scheme worth £287,000 for the Corpus Christi College at the University of Oxford was recently successfully completed by construction company Stepnell, a news report in the local business media can reveal.

According to Stepnell, their work involved refurbishment to en-suite accommodation and tuition rooms above the student library and common room, while the project management, building surveying and quantity surveying services were carried out by Baqus Construction and Property Consultancy.

A temporary roof was also constructed over the building’s actual roof to enable the construction work to go ahead whatever the weather.

Stepnell contracts manager Jamie White said: "Our site team has focused on minimising disruption for staff and students, developing an excellent working relationship with staff at Corpus Christi College to ensure this."
