Supervisors can approve or deny staff absence requests via an App

Bus staff intend to walk out for 24 hours on Friday (June 22) over a dispute in payments for working during this summer’s Olympic Games. The Olympic Delivery Authority has offered £8.3 million in a bid to stave off the strike in London. Unions have pointed to deals that have already been announced giving workers at Heathrow Express a £700 bonus, Network Rail £500, Docklands Light Railway £900, London Overground £600 and London Underground at least £850.
