Up to 300 new jobs set to be created by new business park in Hampshire

The planning committee at East Hampshire District Council gave developers the green light for creating a business park with 59,202 sq ft of commercial property space on land at Buckmore Farm in Petersfield.

According to a news report in the local media, the land was originally set aside for employment use by the council seven years ago, and probably, one of the reasons why plans were accepted is directly related to the fact that the move is set to create up to 300 new jobs on the premises.

George Mellery-Pratt, associate director at Gentian Development Group, said: "We are delighted with the committee’s decision, which moves us a significant step closer to meeting local aspirations for new employment facilities on this site."
