Vehicle hire company launches new Brighton branch, creates jobs

A vehicle hire company has launched a new branch in Brighton, creating several new jobs in the process, a recent news report in the local business media has been able to reveal.

Darlington-based Northgate Vehicle Hire opened its new 10,850 sq ft branch on Brighton Road, where it benefits from links to the A27 Shoreham Bypass, A23, M23 near Gatwick and the M25. The site houses up to 35 vehicles at any one time and created 11 new local jobs.

Marcus Strong, area operations manager at Northgate, said: "The launch of the Brighton branch is a great opportunity for Northgate to further support our customer base in the area, which was previously supported from our site in Crawley. The introduction of the new branch will result in delivery times being cut down as well as providing a new base for vehicle maintenance, ultimately improving our customer service delivery."

He added: "With our extensive vehicle range combined with our vehicle maintenance and breakdown and recovery service – the branch will help local businesses stay on the road for longer, minimising interruption to their business activities.
